ORANGE ALTERNATIVE AS A FORM OF SURREALISM À LA POLONAISE ON THE BACKGROUND OF CREATIVITY PEDAGOGY - SELECTED CONTEXTS

Abstract This text will be an attempt to answer the question of how to analyze creativity and understand the mechanisms that govern it, especially during the transformation period. The concepts of "create" and "creativity" come from the Latin "creatus" and creare". The educational model containing creative contexts allows to indicate two important dimensions. Firstly - here I give Jolanta Uszyńska-Jarmoc it is education about creativity, and secondly, it is to be education for creativity. The latter results from the need to learn throughout life, after all, the school is not able to "equip" a ready repertoire of necessary behaviors, and all creative activities - including those of symbolic significance and inscribed in the specificity of the transformation period acquire a special dimension. The politically involved art of the Orange Alternative, which was an expression of opposition to the communist authorities in Poland in the 1980s, played an important role - contesting in a monotonous, predictable reality. Some researchers claim that the idea of dwarfs was taken from the Dutch provosas in the spirit of Dadaist anarchism and the Dwarf Party. However, many former sympathizers and participants of the Orange Alternative, including the undersigned, disagree with this theory. The text will include examples of "Lublin" showing the complexity and symbolism of Orange Alternative's activities in the spirit of "education for creativity" and "about creativity". The Orange Alternative's actions became the weapon of the young generation, giving the opportunity to demonstrate - in line with youthful temperament - a politically determined attitude, and at the same time to oppose the surrounding realities, taking into account interests and creative activities.
