Abstract The article presents the contemporary meaning of regionalism as a socio-political movement in the context of glocal changes, as well as its practical manifestations in Mazovia, especially in the Łowicz Land. I place the meaning and importance of the social phenomenon of cultural regionalism in the concept of social constructivism as a trend in the social sciences. The current dimension of regionalism is experiencing a renaissance, and its sources lie not only in historical reminiscences, rooted in the social memory of local leaders, but also in the revitalization practices of small homelands. This type of discourse allows us to grasp the changes taking place in their hybridity.
