SATISFACTION AND ORGANIZATIONAL TRUST AMONG POLISH EMPLOYEES

Abstract Modern enterprises face a huge challenge, which is building trust and satisfaction among their employees. The aim of the research is to identify the level of organizational trust and employee satisfaction in modern organizations and to determine the differentiation of these two values due to the demographic and economic characteristics of employees. The study was conducted using an electronic survey among adults and professionally active people. Descriptive statistics and statistical tests were used to present the results. Respondents show a moderate level of satisfaction with their work. Organizational trust is also at a moderate level. In the measurement of trust in the organization, there is quite a high level of agreement between employees regardless of the demographic and economic differences that divide them. The key factors in shaping employee satisfaction are their income and age. The remaining analyzed variables, such as education, gender and size of the employer, do not have a significant impact on the declared employee satisfaction.
