Streszczenie The Russian-Ukrainian war abruptly introduced diversity to Polish schools, undeniably shaping a new, permanent reality. This article analyses the profound impact of the war on Polish institutions, drawing on statistical data and research conducted after the 2022 conflict escalation. We compare conclusions from Polish studies with those from earlier research from outside Poland, providing a comprehensive view of the school’s current and future diversity. Up to now, the dominant model in Poland has been a preference for relationships within nation-ally homogeneous groups. This raises questions about the announced changes to the core curriculum, since the school aims to support all students in their social development, regardless of their background or characteristics.
